John is a family-oriented, landscaping and racquetball playing enthusiast, Bojangles addicted, youth sports coaching, public speaking, author and certified wealth strategist.

He is the founder of Beacon Wealth Management and has appeared as an expert guest on the Brian Tracy Show, which airs on CNBC, FOX, ABC and NBC affiliates. He is also one of the co-authors of the book, Masters of Success with Brian Tracy. In addition, he hosts “Solutions 4 Financial Independence,” a weekly segment on WDTV evening news, has conducted hundreds of educational events for many major corporations on the topics of wealth management and financial planning and has served as a continuing education provider for the WV Teachers’ Retirement plan.

His professional credentials include being a Certified Wealth Strategist, Accredited Investment Fiduciary, Certified Estate Planner, Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant and Registered Financial Consultant. He is also a former member of Ed Slott’s Master Elite IRA Advisor Study Group.

As a professional, John has been passionate about helping people manage and organize their financial affairs since 1994 and is a highly sought-after retirement income planning, tax-reduction and wealth-transfer specialist. He stresses that reaching financial goals involves more than just contributing to a retirement account. During the second half of life, he understands that his clients are looking at a much more multifaceted set of financial worries. A native of Weston, West Virginia, John has served in the United States Air Force and currently resides with his family in Clarksburg, WV. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married since 2005 and have three amazing children.
